Paul Ramirez Jonas Every Day
About the Exhibition
Utilizing the festive form of flag streamers, often seen over storefronts, Paul Ramirez Jonas (b. 1965, Pomona, CA) has created Every Day, a unique calendar of historical moments including news headlines, weather events, phases of the moon, and anonymous diary entries. These colorful flags highlight that every day is special and out of the ordinary.

Every Day is a project of the Public Art Fund, commissioned through In the Public Realm, a program of site specific proposals and projects by New York artists.
